Stan Douglas

Stan Douglas has proudly served the Baton Rouge community and South Louisiana as a State Farm Agent for over 50 years. His work is built on lasting relationships, integrity, reliability, and genuine care for others. For Stan, insurance is more than a business; it’s a dedicated way to help people protect what matters most and feel confident about their future. His journey began in Mississippi, where he was born and raised, before moving to Louisiana to attend Louisiana College in Alexandria. It was there, in 1965, that Stan met Jowanna, beginning a remarkable love story that spanned more than five decades and solidified his deep roots in the state. A firm believer in service that extends beyond the office, Stan lives out the State Farm philosophy every day. For him, "Like a Good Neighbor" is a way of life, whether he is assisting individuals and families through life’s unexpected moments or quietly supporting someone in need. Stan is known for always going the extra mile. Outside of his agency, he is deeply involved in Graceworks Church, where faith, service, and fellowship are central to his life. He is also a passionate supporter of LSU athletics, holding a special place in his heart for LSU Women’s Basketball. For over 20 years, Stan has closely followed the team, attending every Women’s Final-Four appearance LSU has made, including witnessing their first National Championship victory in 2023. Family has always been at the center of Stan’s life. Stan and Jowanna shared 58 and a half years of marriage before her passing in 2024. Together, they raised two children, Traci and Terry, and today Stan is the proud grandfather of six grandchildren, who bring him endless joy. With his extensive experience, a true servant’s heart, and a deep commitment to his community, Stan remains dedicated to helping others secure their homes, vehicles, businesses, and family's tomorrows with Auto, Homeowners, Life, and Business insurance.
